What we collect, and why.
Short version: the calculators collect nothing. Forms collect only what you type. We use it to reply to you, and we don't sell it.

The calculators don't collect anything
All four tools run entirely in your browser. The price, rent, savings, and income you enter are never sent to us and never leave your device — nothing is stored, and nothing is transmitted. Close the tab and it's gone. That's a design decision, not a technicality: you shouldn't have to trade your financial position for arithmetic.
What the forms collect
Tool result emails (zero-down, halal comparator, rent vs own, newcomer planner) collect your email address and a plain-text summary of the result you generated — the numbers already on your screen. We use it to send that result and, if you consented, to follow up about your plans.
Start collects your name, email, optional phone number, and the answers you selected during routing. We use it to prepare for a useful first conversation instead of asking you the same five questions again.
Contact collects your name, email, optional phone number, and your message.
Every form has a consent checkbox. Nothing is submitted without it, and no form is required to use anything else on this site.
How we use it
To reply to you, to send what you asked for, and to help with your home purchase if you want that help. We don't sell your information, and we don't rent it to lead brokers.
Sharing happens only where the work requires it and only with your knowledge — for example, a mortgage broker, halal financing provider, or lawyer you've asked us to involve. Our brokerage, Royal Canadian Realty, has access to client records as required for a real estate transaction and by regulatory obligation.
Where it goes technically
Form submissions are handled by a third-party form service, which stores them on its own servers and forwards them to our email. Our email is a Google service. Both providers process this data under their own privacy policies.
[LEGAL REVIEW: once the form provider is chosen, name it here explicitly and link its privacy policy, and confirm whether its servers are located outside Canada — cross-border storage should be disclosed.]
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising trackers. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch them.
[LEGAL REVIEW: if you later add analytics, ad pixels, or a chat widget, this section must be rewritten first — and a consent mechanism may be required.]
How long we keep it
[LEGAL REVIEW: set a real retention period here — how long enquiries are kept, and how long client records must be retained under brokerage and RECO requirements. Do not publish this page with the placeholder still in it.]
Your choices
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email teamhomecourt@gmail.com or call 416-508-9886 and say so plainly — no form, no retention offer. Some records may have to be kept where the law or brokerage obligations require it, and we'll tell you if that applies.
Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing doesn't affect a transaction in progress.
Questions or complaints
Contact us first — the details are above. If you aren't satisfied with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
[LEGAL REVIEW: this page was drafted to describe what this website actually does. Have it reviewed against PIPEDA, CASL, and your brokerage's own privacy policy before launch — your brokerage may require specific language or may already have a policy this must align with.]
